Vintage Train Trip
- If you are interested in the Vintage Train
Trip through The Rockies please call right
away. We are planning to take the second
trip beginning on August 30th and returning on September 6th. We will follow the
same itinerary as the original trip beginning with our journey from Osceola to Denver
on Amtrak. We will travel to Colorado Springs and ride The Manitou and Pikes Peak
Cog Railroad and enjoy a city tour including the Garden of the Gods and the Air Force
Academy. Our travel continues on the Royal Gorge Route railroad established in
1870. America’s highest and longest Narrow Gauge Railroad, the Cumbres and Toltec
is our next train adventure. The Mesa Verde National Park is our next stop where we
will enjoy the sites dating back thousands of years. The Durango and Silverton Narrow
Gauge Railroad will take us to Grand Junction.

transportation, admission to all listed activities, all transfers, breakfast and dinner

Fall Foliage Cruise - October 19th - 20th
- Our destination is Dubuque, Iowa. Upon arrival we will
enjoy lunch and then visit the newly renovated Mississippi
River Museum and Aquarium.
- Our hotel is the Holiday Inn where we will enjoy a
welcome reception and then take time to rest before our
evening adventure. A step on guide from the Dubuque
Historical Society will take us on a 4 course progressive
dinner. This adventure will take us to some of the most
historic and beautiful mansions as well as the beautifully
restored Railroad Depot. We will return to our hotel full of
the history of Dubuque and full from the wonderful 4
course dining experience.
- We will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart for
the fall foliage cruise. This scenic and beautiful cruise will
feature great music and great food as we relax on the
Celebration Belle riverboat.
- Price per person includes: Motorcoach transportation,
entry to the Museum and Aquarium, hotel, breakfast at the
hotel, 4 course progressive dinner and history tour. $240

Christmas at Terrace Hill
- First Lady Mari Culver and the Terrace Hill Foundation
invite you to join them for Tea at Terrace Hill, National
Historic Landmark and Iowa Governor’s Residence. Each
tea includes scones, finger sandwiches, fabulous desserts
and delicious tea along with a unique educational program.
Proceeds from this event benefit restoration, maintenance
and development of Terrace Hill.
