Learn Smart Money Skills Early

 

Opening a bank  account and making regular visits helps young people get the hands-on experience they need. 

 
Youth Certificate of Deposit  (18 and under)
  • $250 minimum balance to open
  • Minimum $100 per additional deposit
  • Deposits may be made during the term of the CD
Junior Savings Accounts (Birth to 14)

Junior savers receive a free gift when account is opened and a prize from the treasure chest every time they make a deposit.

  • No minimum balance required
  • Maximum 6 debits per month, $1 fee for each over maximum
  • Interest compiled daily; paid quarterly
  • Free paper or E-Statement
Teen Accounts (14 to 18 )
Learning to manage money is a crucial skill for teens to learn early. The sooner they start; the better their finances are in the long run. Plus, it's a good idea to be totally financially savvy before high school graduation!
  • Checking account with a debit card, with an option to set daily spending limits
  • First time car-loan with qualified co-signer
